Pro Dive is recognised world wide as a leader in all aspects of Scuba Diving Education. We offer students a professional and safe learning environment and combine it with spectacular dive locations on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. There truly is no better place in the world to learn to dive! The water temperature rarely drops below 22 degrees Celsius and visibility is usually between 10 and 30 metres. The training centre is located in the city of Cairns and features all the modern facilities including Cairns deepest diver training pool. The PADI 4-Day Learn to Dive Course is broken down to two components
During the first two days your instructor takes you through the academics of Scuba Diving and then into the pool where you put the basics into practice. At the end of day 2 you are invited to attend "Reef Teach", a Marine Biology Presentation on the Great Barrier Reef. This two hour presentation will provide you with information about the reef in a colourful way to enhance your Great Barrier Reef experience. Entry to "Reef Teach" is at no extra charge to PRO DIVE CAIRNS students. Day 3, 4 are spent on board "Tusa Dive" out on the Great Barrier Reef. Whilst at the Reef you complete 2 training/qualifying dives each day which completes your Open Water Certification.
