About Dive Medicals
Prior to diving, you will be asked to fill out a Medical Questionnaire to find out whether you should be examined by a doctor. The purpose of the questionnaire is determine if any pre-existing conditions may affect your safety while diving.

Should you answer YES to any of the conditions listed on the Medical Questionnaire, you will be issued with a PADI Medical Statement to take to a physician for further assessment. This can be arranged by Pro Dive Cairns and the examination fee in Australia is $35, payable directly to the doctor.
