5 Day Learn To Dive Course

Deutsch
Pro Dive is recognised world wide as a leader in all aspects of Scuba Diving Education. We offer students a professional and safe learning environment and combine it with spectacular dive locations on Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

There truly is no better place in the world to learn to dive! The water temperature rarely drops below 22 degrees Celsius and visibility is usually between 10 and 30 metres. The training centre is located in the city of Cairns and features all the modern facilities including Cairns deepest diver training pool.

The PADI 5-Day Learn to Dive Course is broken down into two components

  • 2 Days of pool and classroom training
  • 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard Cruise to the Outer Great Barrier Reef

During the first two days your instructor takes you through the academics of Scuba Diving and then into the pool where you put the basics into practice. At the end of day 2 you are invited to attend "Reef Teach", a Marine Biology Presentation on the Great Barrier Reef. This two hour presentation will provide you with information about the reef in a colourful way to enhance your Great Barrier Reef experience. Entry to "Reef Teach" is at no extra charge to PRO DIVE CAIRNS students.

Day 3, 4, and 5 are spent on board a Pro Dive vessel out on the Great Barrier Reef. Whilst on the Reef you complete your 4 training/qualifying dives which completes your PADI Open Water Certification. After this you are able to go on and enjoy 5 more dives as a recreational diver, one of which is a night dive guided by your instructor. These dives on the Great Barrier Reef will be truly spectacular and memorable and the highlight of your course.

On the your return to Cairns passengers and crew get together in a local restaurant to celebrate the conclusion of your Barrier Reef experience.
